Our Vision
The introduction of KnowledgeWorkshop represents the first phase in company founder Dr. Graham Glynn’s long term vision of creating a global platform for collective knowledge networks, composed of individuals who seamlessly collaborate to build, share and sell knowledge.  In order to realize this opportunity, our vision is being guided by three key principles:

Make knowledge easy to manage and access
Computer systems are very good at storing large bodies of information and providing mechanisms for its rapid discovery and retrieval. They can provide mechanisms for anytime anywhere access to structure knowledge databases.

Use computing and networking to enhance the learning and educational process.
Our focus is on researching and selecting the best methods of teaching and learning, and then finding and testing the technology that enables them in computer mediated environments. Economic forces have pushed our educational and training system toward high student to instructor ratios making one-on-one interactions difficult. Computers can compensate for this by automating many routine tasks, gathering and automatically processing data and by creating new avenues of communication and collaboration

Empower learners
The best way to learn is to teach. We want to empower anyone to become a teacher by breaking down the walls of traditional education environments.  Learners should be able to form groups and communities of learning anywhere and at any time, in the office, among a group of friends spread across the world, with a group of students forming a study group around a course and so on.

It is through these three principles that LMS is creating its key strategic competitive advantages that have the potential to make us a significant player in this multi-billion dollar market sector.

Our Company
Founded in 2002, Learning Management Solutions develops the KnowledgeWorkshop family of personal knowledge management and knowledge networking software.  The software allows students and professionals to create, manage and share personal knowledge bases composed of an infinite variety of computer-based information sources.  The company is privately held and to date has been funded by seed capital from angel investors and founders.
